W. Jamieson Adams works primarily in oils on canvas although he is competent in many of the visual art media. The demand for his paintings, murals and faux finishes steadily increases. His paintings can be found in homes and businesses in North America, Britain and Europe.

Trompe l'oeil is a French expression which means "to fool the eye". Similar to murals, these decorative works create a unique three dimensional feature on a flat surface using skillful painting techniques. A lot of this work is used in the theatre where Bill has mastered the technique, but more and more people are discovering how an effective piece of trompe l'oeil can enhance their home or office.
